The Libera Awards Voting Process
A2IM Members and non members are eligible to submit entries in the categories we have listed to our platform, which are then screened for eligibility. A2IM members then participate in the Panel of Experts Round that determines the finalists in each category; and the Final Round voting process which will determine who wins on Liberas night! Entry Submission
A2IM members and non-members in the independent community can submit entries released during the eligibility year (2024) in the category of their choosing. Labels, Duals, and Associate members can click HERE to access their entry discount for all categories (opens in a new window). Artist and Artist PRO members can click HERE to access their entry discount for the Record of the Year and Self-Released Record of The Year categories (opens in a new window). If you are not yet a member and are interested in becoming one, please reach out to membership@a2im.org.
Screening
The A2IM team will review all entries, and reach out to you should there be any outstanding requirements. This is to ensure that each entry meets eligibility requirements and is categorized correctly. We are not evaluating the artistic or technical quality of the recordings.
Expert Committee Members
For the Panel of Experts Round, we will be having our membership vote on their favorite entries of the year. Additionally, expert committees will cast votes in areas of their expertise.
Final Round Voting
Once nominations have been determined and announced, A2IM Members will then be able to vote for the winners of each category. Similar to the Panel of Experts Round, we will also be having experts committees cast their votes in the area of their expertise.
Results
Votes are tabulated by our voting platform. The entry with the most votes in a category wins. The results will then be announced at the Libera Awards! Winners receive one of our lovely Libera Statuettes with their name and winning entry engraved on it.
